EAA AirVenture 2024: A Family Reunion Like No Other

Another year, another unforgettable EAA AirVenture Oshkosh in the books! The Flight Outfitters team packed up our bags, trucks, and those iconic Adirondack chairs, and headed north for our annual aviation pilgrimage. The energy, camaraderie, and sheer love for aviation that permeates Oshkosh is simply unmatched.

Oshkosh by the Numbers:

This year’s AirVenture was truly one for the record books. The stats tell a story of a thriving aviation community:

• Attendance: A staggering 686,000 people, the highest ever!
• Aircraft: Over 10,000 aircraft graced the skies and fields of Oshkosh.
• Showplanes: A diverse collection of 2,846 aircraft, from vintage beauties to cutting-edge homebuilts.
• Volunteers: Nearly 6,000 dedicated volunteers kept the event running smoothly.

And beyond the numbers, there’s the intangible magic of Oshkosh. It’s where pilots from all walks of life come together, sharing stories, knowledge, and a passion for flight. It’s a place where dreams take flight, and lifelong friendships are forged.

AOPA Gear Fueled by Flight Outfitters

This year marked a special milestone for us. As the newly minted partners of AOPA, we had the privilege of showcasing our gear inside the AOPA tent, right by the flight line. It was an incredible opportunity to connect with AOPA members, share our passion for aviation, and, of course, enjoy front-row seats to the breathtaking airshow.

Oshkosh: The Heart of Our Story

For Flight Outfitters, Oshkosh is more than just an event—it’s where our story began. Ten years ago, we launched our brand with just three bags and a dream. It was at Oshkosh that we met our first customer, Jan Greenberg, who remains a cherished friend and supporter.

As we celebrate our 10th anniversary, we’re reminded of the core values that drive us: a love for aviation, a commitment to quality, and a desire to empower pilots to “Pilot Their Own Adventure.” Oshkosh embodies that spirit of adventure, and we’re honored to be a part of it.
